My g-g-great grandmothers HOVIS line.
I don't have much --
Ellen Hovis out of Georgia. Heard she may have been from Cologn Germany. Don't know for sure.
She had a daughter
Eliza A Hovis born 1850 in Georgia.
Eliza A Hovis married Edward D. Hollis in abt. 1864-65 in Georgia. They lived in Reloga, Chattooga County Georgia. Had 12 children, later moved to Montgomery County Texas.
There wer other Hovis's in Montgomery County Texas --
