Help. I am a descendent of Johann but can't figure out where on tree I am. My grandfather was Alonza Eugene Hovis born circa 1892, died 1979 Pennsylvania, married Helen Taylor (born 1898 died 1955). My father was Lee Andrew Hovis born 26 Sept 1920, married Betty Lou Barnett (born Jan 14, 1933, died April 25, 2008). Unfortuneately, I am not able to discuss any of the history with my father (alzheimer's) his sister Edna has problems also with memory (dementia). His other brothers are deceased. I know there was a huge extensive research done by Wilbert Hovis of Oklahoma. I don't have a copy but would like one if I can get a copy. My mother had a copy but upon her passing, it went with all her other personal papers to my younger brother who will talk to me or my older brother so I won't be getting a copy form him. Anyway, anyone with any information on this line, please contact me. ladykitkat63@aol.com
