I am looking for information on the Hovis family in Missouri. W. P. Hovis married Winnifred Marguerite Carver on December 26, 1920. Winifred was born in 1883 in Shannon Co., Mo., so I would assume that W. P. Hovis was born near that year. Winifred Hovis died in St. Francois Co., Mo. in 1937. If anyone can help me, I'd greatly appreciate knowing what Hovis family that this gentleman belongs. Thanks so much.
