I have a George Hovis, born in 1904 in Arcadia, Manistee, MI - but not more information about him/his descendants.
He was a son of John Hovis, born July 18th 1861 at Irwin Twp. Venango, PA and Jennie Peterson.
John was a son of Michael Hovis, born June 17th 1834 at Irwin Twp., died July 4th 1870 there.
Michael was a son of Earnest T. Hovis, born March 23rd, 1794 at Bedford, PA, died February 28th 1867 ad Clintonville, Venango, PA.
He was a son of Johannes Theodor Hofius, who came from germany 1767 and is a relative of mine.
