Looking for information on Henry Hovis and Nancy Cathey.
From what I have been able to find out they are my gggg-grandparents. My grandfather was Hughie Everett Cargle b. 31 Dec. 1910 d. 1986 (I never got the chance to meet him), his mother was Mary Ann Evans b. 13, Jun 1894 d. 1 Sept. 1955 (before I was born), Mary Ann's parents were Green B. Evans and Mary "Molly" Hovis b. June 1851, Mary's father was Archiebald Cathey Hovis d. 5 Oct. 1900 in Faulkner County, AR., Archie's parents were Henry Hovis and Nancy Cathey.Archie married a Cevilla (unsure of spelling) Wilson, their other children I believe are:Nancy, John, Hugh C.,Ephriam,Alexander and Teresa Ella.
Hughie Everett Cargle and my grandmother divorced before I was born, he was never talked about. Didn't even know he existed until about a year ago. Most of what I have been able to find has been from death certificates and census records. Would love to find someone who can help me put together this part of family heritage.
