FYI to readers: Someone in a South Carolina library kindly did a look-up for me. The referenced SC marriage between John Houston and Mary Calhoun took place "circa 1750". It is not the same couple as my John Huston and Polly Calhoon, who were most likely married in Delaware or Maryland around 1820.
