Hi, I found this book on Heritage Quest.

It might be able to help you, alot of info on the Houston family and marriages. If you don't have access to Heritage Quest go to your local library and you can access it there or get the code and you can access it from home. When you go on Heritage Quest go on Books and people search. Enter David Ross Houston and the book should come up. It does say something about a John Houston and his wife who was a Ross. Hope this helps a little.
