Housley Family Genealogy Forum

All I know is it came from Doc Housley and he was told it by William Thomas Housley. I would guess this would have been in the late 40s or early 50s, I'm not sure about that. I don't know what the context would have been, I guess just talking about the family.
I can't say that I'm really surprised that nobody heard about it at the family reunion. Not many are big into their family history and I can't say that I've been really good about it. Still, I'm surprised there wasn't somebody who knew his name. Since he never wrote it down and it doesn't seem to be written down anywhere, I wonder if he didn't like the name?
Hope this helps.
Jack
