He was registered for the military draft on 12 Sep 1918 at Snohomish, Snohomish Co., WA, USA, age 38, blacksmith, Walton Lumber Co.2 He and Dora Alice Shipton (84191) appeared in the census of 1920 of MacHias Prct, Snohomish Co., WA, USA, age 39, lumber mill blacksmith.4 He and Dora Alice Shipton (84191) appeared in the census of 1930 of South Lake Stevens, Snohomish Co., WA, USA, age 49, blacksmith shop; and nephews, Albert A. Shepton, 18, Canada, and George Shepton, 24, England, both immig. 1912.1 He was the son of parents born in England.1 Research: William John Houghton (84190) and: Bren Franklin: They emigrated from England, to Snohomish, Everette, Washington via Boston arrival 1908, and who appear on the 1910 census in Skagit, 1920 census in Snohomish and 1930 census in Snohomish, Washington State, 105 Lake Stevens, Everette Highway.
