Samuel Bell and Margaret Vaughn were married in 1823 Caldwell Kentucky but resided other places in Kentucky also. Also the Ferguson's were from North Carolina but appear to have been in South Carolina also. The Bell's led a wagon train out of somewhere in Missouri in 1850 but actually the brothers apparently made a few trips. I don't know when the Ferguson's left MO although I could find that source. The Vaughn's were out of Virginia. It appears the Vaughn's, Bell's, and Hooten's all left MO in 1850 (Many did-doesn't mean connected but...). Interesting they were all among the very earliest Healdsburg settlers.
