His Father was also Charles Henry Houghton but called himself Henry, he was 36 in 1901, his occupation was a theatrical agent.
His(Charles) mother was Ellen who was 26 in 1901. Charles Henry Houghton also had 2 sisters, Ellen age 7 in 1901 and Alice age 4 in 1901.
Charles Henry Houghton and his wife Maud Ethel are said to have had several children(7?) born in India. After Charles died about 1947 the family retuned to England about 1948.
I only know the name of one child, Joy or Joyce Houghton who is married to James Walker Currie.
I really want to get in touch with one of these children to ask a question about their mothers maiden name.
