I received the below family tree from someone replying to a query, and believe I descend from "son" Joseph Ashton. HOWEVER, to date I have been unable to substantiate ANY information except that Joseph Ashton was from England, married Jane, and died in 1708.
Margaret HOUGH is allegedly the matriarch of the below family, but I've seen other postings indicating she married a Thomas Ashton, Sr. Only 3 children's names were listed, but they were 3 of the ones listed below.
Can anyone provide information on this family -- for better or worse?
