I have located my grandfather's family in Co Galway East, Ireland. His parent's names were Thomas Hough and Bridget Horan. This area would be Fahy/Eyrecourt, Portumna, Woodlands. The time would be in the 1860s through 1890s. My grandfather and at least one of his brothers emigrated to the US. The name was changed to Howe in the US. John Howe settled in Cleveland, OH and my grandfather, Patrick, settled in Pittsburgh, PA. There are two more brothers, Thomas and Michael Hough. Please contact me if there may be a connection.
