I have done a lot of research on the Hott family starting in Germany in the 1700 to Lancaster co., Pennsylvania to Winchester, Frederick co., Virginia to Harrison township, Pickaway co., Ohio..regarding one line of my family.
I found I have a second line who might of married into the Hott family mentioned above, but I cannot figure out how they fit in.
Peter E. Hott (sometimes found as Holt)..born Circleville, Pickaway co. Ohio on September 29, 1834 married Sarah Williamson in Circleville on January 25, 1855 she was born in Pickaway co., Ohio.
They migrated to Piatt co., Illinois
Who were his parents?
Martha Jane Hott born in Ohio married Alonzo Patrick Coon born in Ohio. They were married on 11-22-1868 in Piatt co. Ohio.
Who were her parents?
Catherine Coon married Jacob Hott born 1790...They were married 9-21-1818 in Pickaway co. Ohio. Who were her parents?
