It seems my info has 2 brothers sons of George and Magdelena Shantz Hott who both married a Loy.
Samuel Hott (1741-1810) married Elizabeth Loy daughter of John, sr.and Elizabeth (kumpf) Loy. Most of his children migrated to Ohio stopping in Rockingham Co. for a decade. Adam Hott 9 Oct 1776-1842 in Holmes Co. ohio married Catherine Deal Hott widow of Peter Hott on 12 Mar 1801.
Brother of Samuel, Henry Hott Sr. (ca 1747-1805) married Christina Loy. After his death she moved to Pickaway Co. OH near Circleville where she died around 1820. One of their sons Henry Hott Jr. (1785-14 July 1854) in Ohio married Mary Loy daughter of Michael and Thesby (Anderson) Loy on 23 Mar. 1809 in Pickaway Co. Ohio
I also have Samuel and Henry's other children
