Dear Kathy, According to Mary Catherine (Hott) Kuykendall's book, "One Man's Family",Elizabeth Hott Hess was the daughter of Jacob F. & Anna (Fries) Hott. "Betsy" was b. 10/4/1817 in Gerrardstown, VA (WV). Elizabeth and Harrison's children were Jacob b. 1838, Jane b. 1840, Anna C. b. 1841, George b. 1843, David b. 1845, James b. 1847, John b. 1849, & Mary. Anna C. m. Daniel Bovey and then m. Samuel Bertram.
Jacob F. Hott's parents were George H. and Eve Rebecca (Steidley) Hott. Jacob was b. 7/25/1790 in Frederick Co., VA. Anna Fries b. 1/3/1791 and d. 11/2/1857, daughter of Martin and Catharine (Schaul) Fries.
