This is how I arrived at this relationship:
My grandmother was Clara Jack. She was married to Leonard Fleming Hunt, my grandfather on my dad's side. Clara's sister, Sarah married Richard Hunt, one of my grandfather's brothers.(Richard Hunt was my granduncle.) Clara and Sarah's parents were John Hastie and Mary Elizabeth Jack.John Hastie Jack's parents were Robert and Margaret Jack. I so far have found eight of their children, John Hastie, Margaret, David, Jennetta, Lancelet (or Lancelot), William, and James Jack. So, it does appear we are indirectly related! It's a round about relationship to say the least, but I think, still a bona fide relationship, wouldn't you say? So, my grandmother's father's father William Jack was married to a Hosner perhaps?I have some digital pictures of the gravestones at this decewsville cemetery.I could send you a few if you are interested. They are in .jpg format and optimized for emailing. So do you think we are connected? My email address is ihunt@home.com. I live in Niagara Falls, Canada. This sounds interesting! Drop me a line via email or through this forum - I'd be glad to hear from you.
