Hi Ronald,

Have you ever gotten a response to your query about Charles Hosner? I don't really have anything for you, but I wanted to point out to you the surprise I had when I saw the names in your query.

You indicate that Charles' children were Alta, Pearl, Stanley, Leo -- and
that the parents came from Dillon, Ireland.
What a co-incidence: My Mom's Uncle Edward Hosner, born 1867 and his wife, May Dillon,
b. 1869 (Canada) lived at one time (1910) in Watertown, Jefferson County, N. Y.
Some of their children were: Alta (the oldest), Pearl, Pauline, Stanley, Irene (possibly Eileen),
and Leo (Cleo on LDS records).

Have you had any input from people who might have been searching my people
instead of yours. I just can't get over the likeness in names. All but Alta, went to Montana, where their father was a prospector, gambler, or what have you -- some of the family ended up in Lone Pine, CA in Inyo County. Looks like, but I'm not sure, Stanley died in Bishop, CA -- and I have been
unsuccessful in determining if this is my Stanley. We are going to vacation quite near there in May, so maybe I can solve it. I have been looking for a long, long time for all the children, except Alta. Her descendants I know very well.

Anything at all you can tell me would be appreciated. Maybe we will discover
something of mutual benefit about this family. Thank you, Ronald.
