Heads up (October 26, 2008) -- someone in B.C. has a group of daguerreotypes for sale on e-Bay, said to have belonged to Jonathan Holt of the 1st Massachusetts Heavy Artillery, who was killed at the Spotsylvania Court House, Virginia, 19 May, 1864. One image is Mrs. J.H. Hosmer. Nothing at all to do with me, but someone out there should be eager to know. Auction closes on November 1st. Go to e-Bay 230303576891
