I haven't found a birth record yet for John. Census records put his birth abt Nov. 1835 in either New York state or Pennsylvania. He died Aug 29 1903 in Pingree, Stutsman county, North Dakota. Frances' birth date is also unknown, census records put it abt July 1854 New York state. She died abt Oct 15 1903 in Pingree. Missing marriage records as well - I'm assuming sometime between June 1880 and June 1881, and I believe it likely happened in Bradford county, Pennsylvania. Don't know when John married his first wife Sarah. She was born abt. 1829, married abt. 1852 and died in Athens Boro, Bradford county, Pennsylvania Nov 22 1879.
