Jeff- I've been checking thru the Concord Vital Records Book and then spent a little time on familysearch.com . (1) The C.Vital Records Book is the full book but a reprint of their orignial that I purchased from Higginson Books. I also have a CD #1 of La. Marriages on which they claim Rufus "King" Hosmer as marrying R.Crawford (if his Mother left him and the girls maybe he changed his name from Lee to King??) (3) In the C.V.R.Book it gives some nicknames common at that time and it states that Sally was often the nickname for Sarah, so that kind of answers why she has two names. On your #(5) inquiry I have checked the Piper Tree and on the familysearch site it goes back to Nathaniel Piper born 4 Apr.1672. Still no connection to Roger Williams at this point. Also~~Think I have this connected up right: Pg.130 (Concord Vital Records Book) states Samuel Buttrick,Jr, marries Mary Parker on Feb.3,1731/32On page 137: Sam Buttrick & Mary (?-probably Parker) have a daughter, Mary, Jun 1, 1734 (on pg.134 it looks like they had first dau.Mary ,on Dec.21,1732-probably died so named second daughter also Mary. On pg.185 Samuel Piper marries Mary Buttrick-both of Concord on Dec.27,1753. On page 194 Samuel Piper & Mary havedaughter Mary Piper born. Sept.30,1756 . Pg.423 states that Widow Mary Piper dies @ age 66 on Feb.6,1799 which would be Mary Pipers Mother Mary Buttrick born in Jun 1, 1734 - Thats all for now - will check on Lee line next.
