Mark, I'm looking for info on William Hosler b. 8/7/1819 d. 12/12/1879 and was French Canadian, Lived in upstate New York m. Jane Bressett (spelled many different ways)she was born 6/6/1811. They had at least 10 children...the first nine born in New York the youngest, Isabelle born in Antrim County, Michigan. This is all I have so far. If you know any more, please let me know. Children of William and Jane:
Alexander 7/5/1848
James, George Married Florence Isman, Joseph, John William, Margaret Ann b.1863 m. Charles H. Short and Brian Holmes,
Mary Kay
Emily Jane b. 1864
Henry b 4/1/1860, m.1891, d 1947
and Isabelle b. 1/18/1873. Please note; family still talks about Jane having her last child at age 62. everyone said she would not live to see her grow into adulthood. Jane died 12/19/1912 at age 101 years.
It is believed that in this family line is a full blooded American Indian. We are trying to find out which tribe. The courthouse in Antrim Michigan burned to the ground years ago and the records were lost. George and Florence are my uncles (Ernest Walden's) grandparents
Thanks a lot.
