I believe the Philip Hose you mentioned in your posting was my 5th ggrandfather. I have traced his son, Solomon Hose, to his birth place in Hagerstown, Washington, Maryland in Nov 1820. His father and mother are listed as Philip Hose and Peggy. Solomon Hose did move to Summit County, Ohio and then on to Indiana. I have lost Philip Hose in Maryland. Do you have any more information on him?
