William Hosman/Horsman/Horseman and Rachel Pickering are my 4th great grandparents. My line is:
Levi Horsman & Mary Wilson
_Rachel Hosman & William Jackson
__Dell Ann Jackson & Alson H. Braley
___Harry J. Braley & Evelyn Emmons
____Alson E. Braley & Hazel Deming
_____Alson D. Braley (Me)
I have been in communication with other reseachers connected to Rachel Pickering. She was married at least 3 times and maybe 4. 1) John Lupton, before 1791; 2) William Horsman, 1791-1819: 3) Godfrey Augustus Speck, 1819-1828: and poss. 4) Mr. Brown, aft. 1830-?... A Rachel Brown is apparently buried near Godfrey August Speck's burial. You have the date of birth for William Horsman as about 1744, I have about 1766. You have them marrying in 1781, I have July 21, 1791. Let's compare notes.
