So, your Dad was Cecil L who owned the general store on the highway across from the road leading to our farm. And you had a brother called Lane (He ordered a copy of Dad's book, I believe). When my sisters and I were in New Bandon for his burial your dad wanted us to go to your home to visit your mother but we were unable to at the time.I am sorry that we weren't able to visit her.
I have many fond memories of your Dad and how he teased me and my uncle Jack.He kept reminding me of the time when I was little and trotting along behind Uncle Jack and something I had said about a 'killed cat'.
We moved from New Bandon in about 1940, at the start of WWII.
I assume you know that both your father and mine were descendants of Edward Hornibrook but at a different level of one generation.
