Hi Gene:
I did't recognize any of the names that you mentioned in your post, sure wish I did! Years ago members of my family said that the Hornor spelling was Ger. while the other spelling, Horner, is English. I am of the English spelling. I have seen instances where the spelling appeared to be interchangeable in some families. There are many of us Horner/Hornor's out there and I have had the devil's own time trying to track down my line of Horner's from Ocean/Monmouth counties in NJ. I wish you more luck with your line Horner's than I have had with mine!
