My Horners are a little more current. My grandmother Lucy Horner b. abt 1882 in Leeds, married Albert Henry Carncross b.1881 I think in Leeds. Her parents were Thomas Horner and Jane Bird. His parents were Albert Cyril and Sarah Carncross.I did find several Thomas Horners on the 1881 British Census but haven't made the connection to Lucy.I found my grandfathers grandparents on the 1881 census in Leeds, that is why I think he was born there.I knowmy grandparents were married in Leeds and my father was born in Leeds West Riding which is the clothing factory district of Leeds, and later lived in Keighley.I think Lucy.s father was a tailor, which would coinsided with the district they lived in.I've sent for my grandparents death certificate sense they died in Buffalo New York.Perhaps it my have some information. My email in [email protected] my posted on how you are doing in your search.Carol
