Marcus,
I'm not sure of the relationship between Amelia Horn and Sarah Horn, who married Capt. William Ridge in 1797 Surry Co., NC. She was the daughter of Richard Horn of Surry Co., NC.
In 1800 William and Sarah Horn Ridge were in Lee Co., VA, and associated with at Thomas Poteet.
