J.B. Horne estate, St. Charles, Ill., 1925
St. Charles (Kane County, Illinois) Chronicle, Jan. 15, 1925, J.B. Horne Leaves Estate To Four Heirs, Edward Horne and Hugh Stewart were named as executors in the will of the late J.B. Horne, which has been offered for probate in the county court.
The estate is valued at $25,000, personal, and $10,000, in real estate.
Under the terms of the will, the widow, Viola Horne, receives all of the household furniture and the income from the residue of the estate, which is to be held in trust. At her death, forty percent of the estate is bequeathed to a daughter, Lillian Stewart; forty percent to a son, Edward Horne; and the remaining twenty percent is held in trust, the income to be given another son, Harry Horne. At the death of Harry Horne, the remaining twenty percent is to be divided equally between the daughter Lillian and the son Edward. (Posted as a courtesy, not related.)
