Hello my name is Antonio McMillian from McRae,GA. I finally got a chance to connect with my father's family, the Horne's. My uncle gave me a book on our family. The Book of Hornes. They was a family that served in the military in medevial Germany and most of them left Germany for the United States in the 1700's and they settle in Virginia. I was astonished as I'm African American and the book didn't have anything on African-American Hornes or even say they was related to them, but it did have my uncle's name as a member of the German Horne family. I ask him for a connection and he told me that his great-great grandfather was Henry Horne who was half-white/African American/Native American. I think he was from North Carolina but moved to Wheeler County,GA where he remained for the rest of his life. I ask if anybody white or black that is a Horne and is a registered member of The Book of Horne's please contact me at t_tone_05@yahoo.com. I would love to exchange any information.
