You seem to know alot about the Hornes of Halifax/Hants NS.
My great great grandfather was Duncan MacKenzie Horne. He was born in Oldham in 1836. Married Maria Elizabeth Lade in 1864 in Shubenacadie, Hants. His family showed up in the 1871 census in Nine Mile River, Hants and the 1881 Census in Truro Road, Halifax they then moved to Chisago, Rush City Minnesota Territory according to the 1895 Census and then onto Bowen Island British Columbia by 1900.
We believe his father may have been Henry & Jannet Horne , son of Andrew Phillip & Anna Barbara Gephardt (or was it Philip Andrew ??)
At any rate do you have any information on Henry & Jannet's children ? Was Jannet a MacKenzie?
