Thomas HORNE b 1774 lived in Fayette County PA and was said to have been a French Canadian, and a 'riverboat man'. I am trying to trace his parentage. Could he or his parents have come down into the states from Ontario? I am assuming his father would have been born in the mid 1700's. Are there any Hornes who have among their ancestors one who was born in the range of 1740-1750 who had a son born 1774 named Thomas Horne? Any leads, greatly appreciated.
