I believe your Abishai Horn(e) is the brother of my Joab Horn(e). Their parents were Moses Horn(e)and Mary Surany from North Carolina. Right? I also see where someone has done more reseach on Mary Anne Ricks and says that her father was John Ricks and not the issue of James Ricks and his third wife Phoebe Horn(e). I always thought having Phoebe as her mother was very strange considering they were Quakers. If Mary Ann Rick's father and mother were indeed James and Phoebe, then she would have married her uncle. What have you found in your research?
The document I have is the court case where Joab's Will is contested by his son Eli. I have asked the Archives for a copy of Joab's actual Will. Perhaps there may be a mention of his brother in that document. Please send me your email address and I will forward the item I do have and if in the future I receive anything else, I will be happy to forward it on.
