Lawrence (van) Horn(e) in NC ~1800

I'm trying to find primary documentation on Lawrence van Horn(e) and Ann Crosland Sneed (Snead). They were ostensibly married in 1802 and had several children in Rockingham County, NC. including (among others) Daniel Alexander Horn (my g+grandfather) and Temperance Buford Horn(e) who married James Alexander Liles. Family tradition and secondary documentation has Lawrence Horn being born at sea, living outside of Philadelphia, PA when young, and then moving south. Ann Crosland Sneed is a mystery. I have not been able to formally link her up with an established Sneed/Snead line, although, again, family tradition has her as a daughter of Israel Sneed and granddaughter of Samuel Sneed (who was a Loyalist and husband of Temperance Buford).

DA Horn's papers are in the archives of UNC and I'm hoping to get a look at them in the near future. But any insights from people on this forum would be welcome.
