Am looking for any information on James Edelyn Horn(e) who was born in Indiana and married Rebecca Osborne of Ohio. I know their daughter Estella Horne was born in Alder Gulch, Madison Co. MT Dec 23, 1866 so they were in Montana by that point. The 1880 census lists both of James's parents as originally coming from Virginia, but the 1900 census indicated that his father was from Ohio and his mother was from Indiana.
Children I know they had include:
Estella Horn born Dec 23, 1866 m. Joseph P. Bennett
Mary born abt 1872
Eliza born abt 1874 m. ______ Avery
Walter born June 1876 m. Bertha Grace Brown
Maggie D. born Dec 1887
This family ultimately settled in Deer Lodge Valley, Deer Lodge Co., MT where they were by the time of the 1880 census and where they both passed away.
