I have been looking for my birth father for a very long time and keep hitting a brick wall.
My mother met George while he was based here in Winnipeg in 1957. As far as I know he was a part of the German Forces. In Feb of 1958 my father was shipped back to his original forces base. I was born in August of 1958.
He would have been born approximately 1935 - 1938.
My mother has recently passed away and died not knowing his where abouts. My adopted father was just killed in a horrible car accident a few months ago.
I now really need to find my birth father as I have no family left.
Please help if you have any clues or ideas.
