I am trying to obtain information about my Horne ancestors from Wolfe Island. My grandfather was Rodney Horne. He married Edna Georgina Williamson (born 1885). At least 2 of their children were born on the island - Clarence (in 1909) and Georgina (in 1908). The family moved to New Brunswick where daughters Leah, Ada and Thelma were born. They then moved to Toronto where Lillian and my mother,Elizabeth, were born. I have been checking the Archives of Ontario for information on the family but have uncovered little to date. If you have any information on the Horne clan that might help me along the path of ancestral discovery I would greatly appreciate hearing from you.
