I believe this to be my line of descent.Would someone have any further information?
Henry Horn, born 10-Aug.-1755, Wuertemberg, Germany. Married Elizabeth Trone in PA, d. 17 Nov. 1839. (LDS list at least 10 children.)
Their son, John Horn, b. 21 May 1789, Lexington, Va, died 4 Nov 1864, in Bellefontaine, Ohio and is buried in Lake Twp. Cemetery, or Bellefontaine Cemetery. He married Nancy Sheets in (?), d. 17 Oct 1886 ae 89y 1m 24d.She is buried in the same cemetery as her husband.
Their son, Henry Horn, b. 11 Feb 1825-28, d. Nov 1902, (LDS say b. 11 Feb 1825, Preble Co., Ohio.) Cemetery listing says "father, adjacent to Mary Horn monument." He married Mary Laney, b. 9 Apr 1824 (Tombstone 1824-6), Bellefontaine, Ohio (?) d. 6 Mar 1902, Bellefontaine, Ohio, buried in Lake Twp., Bellefontaine Cemetery. Cemetery listing gives "mother, adjacent to Henry Horn monument. Married July 1846, Logan Cty, Ohio.
Their son, Joseph S. Horn("S" possibly Stephen) b.18 July 1848, Lake Twp., Logan Cty., Ohio. d. 22 Jun 1922, buried in Lake Twp, Logan Cty, Bellefontaine Cemetery, Oho.He married Elizabeth "Lizzie" Albright 28 Sep 1871, Logan Cty, Ohio.There is an Elizabeth Horn buried in the Bellefontaine Cemetery, b. 1850, d. 1925.
Their son, Henry Ellis Horn, b. 18 Feb 1875, d. 2 May 1940.Buried in the Lake Twp., Logan Cty, Bellefontaine, Ohio, Cemetery.(My father says he was born in 1872 and died in 1937 at age of 65).He married Ethel Jessie Abraham, 7 June 1900.She was b. 1877, d. 1926, according to the Lake Twp., Logan Cty, Bellefontaine, Ohio cemetery listings.(My father indicates Ethel Horn was born in 1882 and died in 1927 at the age of 45).They bore eleven children, seven daughters, and four sons.From the cemetery listings of Lake Twp, Logan Cty., Bellefontaine Cemetery, I found they lost three of these precious daughters in infancy.Ethel Abraham died when my father was 12 years of age.
I am the daughter of their third son and tenth child, Harold Henry Horn, b.1 Aug 19l4, Wanamaker, Indiana, d. April 1978, Tampa, Florida. He is also buried in the Bellefontaine Cemetery.I have two sisters and one brother.
