My father's name is Alton Horne, but evidentally he is not the one you are looking for. I thought it strange though, because I have never heard the name, other than my Father's. He was born 4/28/14 in Autrysville, N.C. His Father was John Fed Horne and Mother, Susie (Hair) Horne.
He had two brothers, Clarence and Clebe Horne. They are all deceased now. My father died October 21, 2003. Alton
Horne married Mary Ellen Capps and had five children. They lived in Dunn, N.C.
