Hi Bonnie -

Just ran across your post and while this isn't my direct line I can provide information on the DOWDLE side of the family if interested.

I do have a George Horne who married Anne Pickens Dowdle 2/7/1835 in Greene Co., AL. Ann was born 1804. George possibly had a brother named Zacherius who married a Elizabeth Goodwin also 2/7/1835 in Greene Co., AL. Ann would be a sister of my ancestor James Gibson Dowdle. I can provide FGS on the DOWDLE family if you'd like.
