Hi Barbara, Thanks for the reply. I have most of the details you have. I'm most interested in the origin of the first John at St Michael on Wyre - I had not thought to look so far away. How did you find him?
Mary Etock's parents I have as James and ?Isabel.
The 2nd John I had not linked to the marriage to Hannah Dewhurst - his occupation is different - calico printer rather than spinner. Also the marriage to Ann Heaton has him as a batchelor. They had 2 children: John chr. 19.5.1799 and Ann chr 7.2.1801. Ann nee Heaton died in childbirth on 3.2.01 and was buried at Deane on the same day as her daughter was christened. Her grave stone links to descendents of John (1799)'s daughter Fanny who married a Haddock! I haven't details of Charles' children beyond those with Fanny Pilkington. (Con't next message)
