My ancestor, Benjamin Eli Salter married Molly Fisher 2 Jun 1890 in Yell Co AR. According to family tradition Molly had been married previously to Mr. Horn and had a son, Val, by him. Her second marriage was to Fisher and had a son, Claud, by him. Molly died abt. 1891. Benjamin Salter remarried in 1891.

It seems that Molly's marriage to Mr Horn must have been after 1880. I've not been able to locate either her or Val (may be Vel) in any census record. C. B. Cotton signed with Ben Salter for his marriage to Molly (Fisher)

In the 1900 Faulkner Co AR census Muddy Bayou twp there is a Claud Fisher born Feb 1845 listed as an orphan livng with Barney and Mary Heffington. This might be Molly's child. If so then Molly would have married Mr Fisher about 1844 and probably as Molly Horn.

Does anyone recognize this family? Does anyone have Horn marriage record that might be Molly, or know anything about Val Horn?
