I am looking for the father of a Ruben Arthur b. 1825 in knox, KY. I recieved some unsourced info that his dad is a Christopher Horn b. 1787 in Virginia and he died 7 Feb 1856 in Buchanan, MO. Christopher Horn b. 1787 Dad is Christopher Horn B. 1752, in Virginia and died in knox, ky 1839. I am led to believe that Christopher Horn Sr. was married more than once and that Rueben's dad's (Christopher Jr.)mom was Mary Wise (marriage dt. Dec 1817, knox,ky).
I am wondering where I can go to verify all this info?
Please be patient with me...I am just starting out on my family history research, and really don't know what tools I have to use to find concrete sources.
