I hope that anyone can help me with my Horn(e)line. My gggrandfather was Calvin P. Horn, b.Jan. 5,1833 in Giles Co.,TN. He married Myriam C. Johnston (b. March 5,1833)in Maury Co.,TN) Myraim's parents were John A. "Jack" Johnston from Greene Co. TN. and Nancy Hunnal from SC. They lived in either Giles Co. or Lawrence Co., TN. Their son was James C. Horn b. Aug. 3,1862 in Lawrence Co., TN. He married Dec. 1, 1880, in Lawrence Co.,TN. to an Elizabeth Tidwell (b.June 5,1860). Elizabeth's parents were William "Bill" Gazeway Tidwell (son of Vincent Tidwell and Pheobe Rackley) and Sarah Amanda Kelly (daughter of James Kelly and Jane Hale),all from either Giles, Lawrence, or Maury Counties. I think that James C. Horn was a Methodist minister, circuit rider. James C. and Elizabeth Tidwell Horn's son was my grandfather, Raymond Earl Horne, b. Jan. 15,1896, d. June 30,1978.I can find very little on this line of Horn(e)'s I don't know whether they came from VA or NC. This is all the information I have on this family and I would appreciate any information you could provide. Thanks, Cindy (Horne) Lambert
