I'm not SURE, but pretty SURE that Milberry Horn was married to Joseph D. Philips II. I'm not sure where Larry got his information from...but our family line ties directly to this marriage.
There WAS a daughter Sarah, called Sallie. She married Dr. William Williams, son of Elisha Williams and Sarah Josey. I know of no second marriage for either her or Dr. Williams. The children were: Betsy, Patsy Hunter, Charlotte, Henry, William, Mary Wharton, John Wharton, Joseph Philips, Maria Graham and possibly an Evander McIver.
Betsy married an Evander McIver.
Patsy did not marry and died at age 23.
Charlotte Philips married William B. A. Ramsey of Knoxville, TN
Henry died at age 12.
William married Elizabeth Donelson of Sumner Co., TN
Mary Wharton married Dr. Robert M. Porter.
John "Jack" Wharton married a Marthat Pennington.
Joseph Philips died at 22.
Maria Graham died at 27.
Dr. William Williams lived in Nashville, TN with his wife Sarah "Sallie" Philips and they are both buried there. He died 1862at age 85 and she in 1859 at 75 years old.
Sarah's sister Margaret Thomas Philips is our family line and she married Josiah Frederick Williams, a brother to "Sallie's" husband William Williams.
Glad to give what info. I have.
