I am interested in corresponding with anyone who might have information on these people. I know Mary married Patrick McCarthy, before 8 Aug 1865 when their daughter Ellen was born. Ellen came to Montana and married James O'Brien who was about 15 years her senior. These two were my mother's grandparents, and she says the families were friends in Ireland and it was an "arranged" marriage. James and Ellen moved to Wabash Co., IN and were the parents of three sons.
