Here is a link into my Rootsweb tree:
http://worldconnect.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=mopartisan&id=I99

Benjamin Mc. Hord settled in the Murfreesboro area after the war. He had started a novel before the war and one of his daughters had it typed up and it is available on film from the Univ of NC I believe it was. Anyhow, his mother was a cousin of General Benjamin McCulloch.

You might find more at my website:
http://www.geocities.com/presuppositionalist/

That page has a search tool for searching the entire website. There is also a link there to my genealogy notes.

Best of luck to you. By the way - at the battle of Stones River there is a plantation house that was used as a hospital - it is called "The Hord House." Do you know what Hord family lived there?

Thank you for your help,
Mark
