Searching for letters, journals, and other personal and public documents referencing the life and military service of Jesse Hopson, who enlisted in Company F of the 108th U.S. Colored Infantry at Paducah, Kentucky, in June 1864. He survived the war and received an invalid pension in 1890. He may have been a slave owned by a Paducah merchant named George Hopson. Any and all help appreciated.
