I am trying to find out anything/everything I can about Matthew Grant. My Matthew Grant moved from Virginia, Montgomery County TN, and then to Panola County, Texas.

Have seen a Matthew Grant in Montgomery, Tennessee Census for 1830, 1840, and the 1841 voters list.

In addition, from "Hopson, a Genealogy" By Dorothy Neblett Perkins cited at books.google.com (snippet view)
he is listed on page 292? Don't know for sure what it says but I would really like to.

Can someone please help me?
