Robert, Thank you so much this info is great and it is very awesome to find someone searching for some of the same info as i am.
I am Alfred Hopson married/commonlaw with Cornelia Hudson decentant from what i can tell and the thing my father and his brothers know. Alfred was with cornelia and they had a few children one of which would have been my grandfather Charles and he had a few sisters which we are just getting in touch with now(we have never met them or even spoken to them). But what my father knows to be true is that Cornelia left my grandfather(Alfred) who had been running a bordello of some type and started a whole other family somewhere in Orilla, Ontario(i have yet to look for them).
That is about as much as we know and it has gotten me very interested in finding out more.
So once again thank you so much for your info and if you have anymore info you could share that would be great i think we should keep in touch and try to find out how we may be connected.
Oh yes and if you dont mind can i ask where you are from?
